Challenge
The investor had a requirement for a comprehensive system that could be expanded in the future. According to the requirements, the system must fulfil the functions of controlling heating, air conditioning, lighting, and address the energy management of the building. It must include an access and attendance system and the installed system must be able to connect to the BMS system.
Solution
Loxone fully met the investor's requirements. 6 Miniservers take care of the running of the building, 6 Audioservers provide audio. Technologies are mainly connected via Modbus and EEBus interfaces. Loxone controls heating (heat pumps, gas and electric boilers), cooling, recuperation, shielding. It transmits data to the attendance system, the BMS system and is connected to the PCO.
The Loxone architecture enables expansion, connection with peripherals of different manufacturers and data exchange with different systems. The user application is simple, user-friendly.
