New semi-detached house

Our own construction project was to be realized as an energy-efficient semi-detached house with a uniform system. The aim was to integrate the control of infrared heating, photovoltaic system, security, access, charging management, lighting and audio. These functions were to be partially automated and controlled remotely. It was also important that the system could be expanded at a later date.



As the residential units are also intended to be rented out in the long term, we attached particular importance to user-friendly and easy-to-understand operation in everyday life. Thanks to well thought-out planning, the project was to become a fully functional smart home that combines both convenience and efficiency.

We chose Loxone to seamlessly connect all the components. The infrared heaters in the ceiling are controlled by temperature sensors in Touch Pure switches, time control and window contacts for everyday use. The window contacts also enable the subsequent integration of an alarm system.

Loxone spotlights and presence detectors provide an individual lighting mood in all rooms, and various lighting scenes can be saved. With Nightlight Air, the entire house can be put into “sleep mode” from the comfort of your bed.



The Audioserver and the speakers built into the ceiling provide excellent sound and additional functions such as doorbell messages, alarm sound and smoke detector warnings. The Intercom enables access via NFC tag, PIN or Loxone App, supplemented by a doorbell with camera.

A Loxone Wallbox is in the plans to add in the future. The photovoltaic system in combination with a storage unit ensures energy-efficient operation.

Everything is controlled centrally via the Loxone App, ensuring intuitive operation for both us and future tenants.
