Challenge
This 250m^2 single-family home was built in 2021. The basement was actually supposed to be a party room. Shortly before completion, however, it was decided that the grandparents would move into the basement area. Lighting, shading, heating, access and the multiroom audio system are now controlled with Loxone.
Solution
With the flexibility of Loxone Config, everything could be reprogrammed so that two parties can now control their living areas separately. The access solution was implemented using a third-party product that could be seamlessly integrated into the Loxone system using the NFC Code Touch Tree. Each party uses its own access codes to its own area. Using the central building blocks, the separation between the upper and lower floors could be achieved relatively well. A photovoltaic system with Fronius inverter and battery storage was also integrated, as were two Hörmann sectional doors. The attractive visualization in the Loxone app offers great added value, in which you can see at a glance how much energy is currently being consumed, produced and fed into the grid.
For this project, the decision was made to use Loxone because the client wanted a contemporary, flexible and safe standard.
