Challenge
The customer needed to modernize and repair the front door on his Barca board, as it was either outdated or defective.
Solution
The use of the Loxone system has significantly improved the control functionality. The system monitors the voltage of the battery engine and the service battery, the status of the power supply, the activation of the battery and the operation of various on-board cisterns such as fuel, cold water, waste water and fresh water. In addition, an automatic e-mail notification is sent when certain cisterns reach a critical fill level.
A tablet was installed in the dinette for central control, while the customer has further control options via a smartphone, an additional tablet or a PC - all with Wi-Fi and LTE connectivity. In addition, all appliances were equipped with automatic fuses and bypass interruptions for the manual power supply were installed to ensure the most important functions in an emergency.
