Modern warehouse & office

An existing warehouse and adjoining office wing were to be combined to create an energy-efficient overall concept. The focus here was on not laying any new cables if possible. Special requirements included taking into account the different areas and working hours as well as ensuring the smooth delivery of materials - even at night.



In addition, three existing hall doors had to be able to be controlled individually. An already installed photovoltaic system had to be integrated into the concept, as well as four new charging points. There was also a desire to include an alarm system in the system to ensure the security of the facility.

An intercom system was installed in the office building, while jukeboxes and Presence Sensors were installed in the individual rooms. The heating is controlled via the temperature sensors of the Touch Pure and Air devices, in combination with Window Contacts and a timer. A Room Climate Sensor was also integrated for the server room. The Window Contacts are not only used for heating control, but are also part of the alarm system, which is connected to the warehouse via contacts in the hall doors.



The warehouse was divided into different areas: Workshop, warehouse, general hall area, high storage and a demarcated area for goods delivery. Each area is equipped with Presence Sensors. Music boxes were installed in such a way that they are controlled via the Presence Sensors in the desired sub-areas. These are also connected to the Intercom system in the office building, which means that the ringtone can also be heard in the hall.



The goods delivery area is a separate room that is accessible both from the hall and from outside around the clock for goods deliveries. An NFC Code Touch was installed here, which is programmed with individually assigned PIN codes for different suppliers. This ensures that the delivered goods can be stored securely from authorized access until the following day, while the suppliers do not have access to the rest of the warehouse.
