What does a smart home expert do with his own flat from the early 90s? That's right! A smart flat. The entire traditional electrical installation had to be rebuilt or remodelled. The air conditioning system that was retrofitted this summer has also been integrated and now cools fully automatically without the annoying ON-OFF, temperature up-down. A dream especially in the bedroom.

The old gas boiler (BJ 88) was also integrated and has already achieved 18% energy savings compared to the previous year thanks to the individual room control in combination with actuators.

But power consumption could also be reduced through the use of presence detectors. Especially useful in connected rooms if part of the room is used as a passage. The light just goes off again after a few minutes.
