Contemporary House

The challenge of this project was to design a centralized, intuitive, and optimized control system for a 276 m² contemporary house, while minimizing the number of controls required by the user.

The house was to be equipped with two complementary heating and cooling systems: underfloor heating/cooling and a ducted system. These systems had to operate in a coordinated, intelligent, and seamless manner, taking into account thermal comfort, energy consumption, and daily usage patterns.

In addition, the system included lighting scene management, allowing for the creation of atmospheres adapted to different times of day and the occupants' needs, as well as control of shading (blinds, shutters).

Finally, the project had to include a multi-room audio system, providing a seamless and consistent experience throughout the house.

The overall challenge was therefore to conceal the technical complexity of these multiple systems behind a simple, coherent, and ergonomic interface, guaranteeing comfort, energy efficiency, and ease of daily use.

To meet the project's requirements for simplicity, performance, and consistency, the chosen solution relies on the LOXONE home automation ecosystem. This system centralizes all the home's technical functions within a single, reliable, and scalable concept.

The LOXONE system ensures intelligent heating and cooling management, coordinating underfloor heating/cooling and ducted systems to optimize thermal comfort while controlling energy consumption. Scenarios are automated based on usage, schedules, and ambient conditions, thus minimizing manual intervention.

Lighting scenes, shading control, and the multiroom audio system are also natively integrated into the LOXONE solution, enabling seamless interaction between different devices and a consistent user experience throughout the home.

At the heart of this approach is the Touch Pure Flex, a single, versatile control point. This device consolidates all essential functions onto a single, intuitive, and ergonomic interface. Users can control lighting, temperature, shading, and audio from a single control point, drastically reducing the number of wall switches while maintaining a wide range of functions.

Thanks to this comprehensive solution, the home benefits from simplified control, advanced automation, and optimal comfort, all while offering a modern, elegant experience perfectly suited to everyday use.
