Longest pedestrian suspension bridge

Challenge

In this project, we wanted to implement a clear and user-friendly monitoring system for all necessary systems, one that also offered ease of use for employees. The challenge lay in comprehensively and efficiently recording the various safety components of Germany's longest suspension bridge.

Solution

Two Loxone Miniservers were used as the central unit. These bundle all components and functions in a clear and user-friendly manner.

The following functions were integrated into the project:

-> Turnstile control
-> Visitor entry and exit counting
-> Emergency exits
-> Lighting
-> Wind speed and direction sensor via W&T gateways
-> Tilt sensors via W&T gateways
-> Temperature
-> Alarm system
-> Emergency call stations
-> Public address system for emergencies and hazardous situations
-> UPS
-> Emergency power supply

In this project, the entire electrical installation was implemented using LOXONE. This allowed us to intelligently network all trades and create a future-proof, comfortable, and energy-efficient solution – perfectly tailored to the project partner's requirements.
