Challenge
No staff, extended hours, and all the problems that come with it: squatting, break-ins, lights left on unnecessarily, uncontrolled access. A laundromat without supervision can quickly go wrong.
Solution
Thanks to Loxone, the laundromat operates completely autonomously. Access opens and closes automatically according to a schedule—no intervention required. The lighting reacts to actual occupancy: on when needed, off as soon as it's empty. The alarm arms itself at closing time and protects the site all night.
For squatting, Loxone manages this without human intervention: as soon as a presence is detected outside of normal usage patterns, scenarios are automatically triggered—light signals, audible messages, changes in ambiance—to encourage people to leave. Efficient, discreet, and conflict-free.
