La Cascada

The objective of this project is to automate the control of lighting, shading, climate, ventilation, maintenance, access and security of a house. With the automation of this house, the aim is to obtain greater comfort in the daily life of its inhabitants, anticipate possible breakdowns anywhere in the installation, facilitate access to the house for maintenance workers and have greater energy savings.

The climate control and DHW is made up of a VRF heat pump, 7 internal evaporators and 4 equipment to heat/cool the water, in addition to 3 heat exchangers that are integrated into the system and that regulate their ventilation power according to the quality of air and moisture. The underfloor heating is controlled by solenoid valves, and according to rooms. The climate control starts the heating or cooling system automatically and independently in the room or rooms where it is necessary at all times, which allows greater energy savings. The automatic shading of blinds and curtains helps to maintain an optimum temperature in each situation and place of the house, parameterizing the interior and exterior temperature and the solar thermal contribution. The climate control allows setting the priority of action of the system modules, thus favoring energy savings. For example: 1º Shading, 2º Heat recovery, 3º Underfloor heating, 4º Air conditioning. The parameters can be modified according to the user's wishes.



The Lighting Control can be configured taking into account the time of day or night, motion detection, schedule, natural light and each room, so that the lighting is adequate both inside and outside of the House.



In the accesses to the house and the plot, a history system is incorporated to control presence and also has the management of the alarm and the motorized locks of the doors. The system also allows the third-party alarm to communicate the sensor signals to us so as not to duplicate the installation, with the consequent savings for the customer. We use the audioserver installation to play the intercom alarm events and other notices. Fire and flood sensors have been installed for greater peace of mind for the home user, since they would receive notice in the event of a water leak or fire outbreak.



An expansion of the photovoltaic solar plant for self-consumption of 25KW is planned, in order to automate the management of energy production and achieve optimal consumption in terms of electrical energy. With this energy management, the priority of the consumption of the filtration of the swimming pools (both exterior and interior) and of the electrical appliances (washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, etc.) will be controlled, which in turn are integrated in the Home Connect system.



All pool filtration installation equipment and salt production machines have their own consumption, working hours and electrical overload protection meters. These devices, in addition to all Loxone and Home Connect devices, have notifications created by PUSH notification and by email: about breakdowns, lack of maintenance or due to errors in the performance of any of the components.
