The Losenický Foundry needed to secure stable and safe power supply for its energy-intensive operations.
Key requirements:
– protection of production against power outages,
– consumption monitoring at the level of individual devices,
– remote energy readings and clear control of the entire site,
– ability to optimise the use of onsite PV and reduce costs through low spot electricity prices.

Solution
ADS Energy implemented a comprehensive energy solution combining:
– a 200 kWh battery storage system,
– the Loxone control system for advanced energy management.
System functions:
– backup of critical technologies (including the foundry furnaces),
– online consumption monitoring and remote gas metering,
– automatic battery charging based on spot prices,
– real-time visualisation and control of the entire facility,
– modular architecture ready for expansion to additional buildings.
Result: improved energy efficiency, operational stability and long-term flexibility.
