Challenge
The goal was to automate a modern office building with multiple units in a centralized, efficient, and user-friendly manner. In addition to lighting, shading, and climate control, access control, audio, security features, and energy management were to work together intelligently. At the same time, the system had to be flexibly expandable and suitable for diverse tenant structures.
Solution
LOXONE was used to implement a comprehensive building automation system in which multiple Miniservers work together seamlessly, intelligently networking the various building areas. Lighting, shading, heating, cooling, and ventilation react automatically to presence, time of day, weather, and occupancy. Access control, audio functions, and energy monitoring were also integrated. Thanks to the structured distribution across multiple Miniservers, the system remains manageable, scalable, and easy to maintain, even in larger buildings.
