In addition to a sophisticated lighting concept, it was important to the owner that the building's systems were optimised to only use the required amounts of energy. This is where Loxone home and building automation comes in. The Loxone system was integrated to control the photovoltaics, heating and climate control. The final important factor for the client was to have a centrally controlled audio system.

The implementation of the Loxone system went extremely well. The lighting control is supported by presence and brightness detection through sensors. This ensures that the appropriate lighting atmosphere is automatically available in the respective areas of the hotel at the specified times. Manual intervention is also possible at any time using the Loxone Touch.



The heating and cooling system is also optimised to work as an integrated part of the intelligent room control: it operates the air conditioning devices via ModBus and records the window status.



The energy management system also supports the 22kW car charging station from KEBA in the car park.



The various audio zones can be controlled centrally via the audio player, with alarms and announcements set up for broadcast through the same system.
