Family house

Challenge

An investor requested a Loxone installation for his new family home. It was a relatively large family home.

Solution

The vast majority of the lighting was implemented with a combination of Loxone spotlights and Loxone round lights.

We used recessed presence sensors to detect movement (at that time it was a current novelty).

In the main living rooms, the ambient lighting is solved by LED strips with hidden compact tree dimmers directly in the suspended ceilings. During the final works, we supplemented the lighting of the furniture with LED strips controlled via compact air dimmers.

We used three Loxone pendant lights above the dining table.

Unimportant rooms (such as the utility room, dressing rooms, etc.) are illuminated by cheaper 24V spotlights dimmed via Loxone dimmers directly from the main switchboard.

The shading is solved by standard blinds and Loxone air actuators.

For control, we used Touch Pure buttons throughout the house due to design and functionality.

Heating is solved completely by underfloor electric cables switched via Loxone Relay extension.

Access is solved by a wireless electric lock and of course a Loxone NFC keyboard.

The whole house is equipped with Loxone ceiling speakers, which are powered by a Loxone audio server with several Stereo extensions. At that time, it was a complete novelty.

The whole house is energy-intensive, therefore consumption is monitored by a combination of electricity meters and measurements via Loxone smart sockets.

In a later phase of implementation (2024), the integration of air conditioning was added via new air control elements.

And the control of the pool heat pump via Modbus.
