Challenge

Before the project was implemented, the investor faced the challenge of how to effectively operate a newly emerging golf and training complex built on the premises of a former brownfield. The goal was to create a modern sports facility with high user comfort, which would also be energy-efficient and sustainable in the long term. Given the scale of the facility and the diversity of operating zones, it was clear that traditional manual control of technologies would be inefficient and operationally demanding.

The main objective of the project was therefore to unify the control of lighting or access systems and other technologies into one central solution that would enable automated operation with minimal operator requirements. The emphasis was placed on optimizing operating costs, clearly arranged management of the entire complex and the possibility of future system expansion in line with the further development of the sports facility.

Solution

The proposed solution consisted of implementing a central automation system that unified the management of all key technologies of the sports complex into one clear and easy-to-use unit. Automation mainly includes the management of lighting and access systems. Thanks to scenarios and time schedules, the operation of the complex is optimized without the need for constant manual intervention by the operator.

The result of the implementation is a significant reduction in the energy consumption of the facility, increased comfort for visitors and staff, and simplification of everyday operation. The operator has a central interface for supervising the entire complex and can flexibly respond to operational requirements or changes in the schedule. In addition, the system is ready for further expansion, which allows its long-term use even in the future development of the sports complex.

Thanks to automation, cleaning is significantly more efficient – the cleaning lady has access only to designated areas and after she leaves, the entire building is automatically locked. Without this system, she would have to go around all the entrances and windows and lock everything manually, which would take significantly more time. In the event of unauthorized access, an alarm is immediately triggered, LOXONE transmits the information to the central security desk and a preset message with instructions on how to proceed is heard in the speakers throughout the premises.
