Challenge

As part of a comprehensive renovation of a maintenance depot, the control of various building services systems needed to be centrally automated. The goal was to achieve user-friendly, reliable control of all relevant systems while simultaneously focusing on efficiency and future-proofing.

Solution

The project was implemented using a LOXONE system consisting of three Miniservers in a Master Client configuration and an Audioserver. The bus technologies DALI (for lighting), Modbus and 1-Wire (for HVAC components), and KNX (for special devices and sensors) were used to connect the various systems. The following technologies were integrated into the LOXONE building automation system:
- Lighting
- Access system
- Gates
- Skylights
- Ventilation
- Air heaters
- Audio
- Alarms

The system gives us a clear overview of all functions in the building at all times and can be easily expanded if necessary.<br />
