A comprehensive Loxone solution was implemented in the dining room, bar, and adjacent infrastructure of a modernized hotel. The goal was to combine comfort, security, and energy efficiency – with a particular focus on intuitive operation and a high-quality guest experience.



Challenge:

The project involved the integration of several systems:

• Intelligent lighting control

• Audio sound system

• Access control including check-in solution

• Alarm system

• Emergency lighting without compromising aesthetics

The goal: A smart system that operates unobtrusively for guests and is easy to operate for staff – even without technical training.

In addition to automatic control via Presence Detectors and time profiles, traditional push buttons were installed. These allow guests and employees to operate the system manually at any time – a decisive advantage, especially in the busy bar and breakfast area.



The motion detectors not only automate the lighting, but, together with Door and Window Contacts, form the basis for a fully integrated alarm system.



Access to the main building and bicycle room was implemented via NFC Code Touch. This makes time-controlled access rights for guests and employees easy to manage – ideal for flexible arrival times or late check-ins. The automated check-in process offers maximum flexibility for guests.



Another highlight is the emergency lighting solution: Using the Loxone Power Supply with an extended battery pack, elegant emergency lighting was implemented – discreetly via existing LED strips, without the need for conspicuous emergency lamps that would have disrupted the harmonious lighting design.



The Audioserver ensures a high-quality audio experience, providing crystal-clear sound to the bar, breakfast room, and terrace. The system is controlled either via app or directly on the Touch Pure Flex, which makes the most important functions and scenes accessible – simply and intuitively.
