Challenge
The goal of this project was:
- Automatically turn on the lighting for the walkway in the front garden of the house, built into the stone monoliths, after sunset. The lighting should be turned off in the morning at sunrise.
- Furthermore, turn on the lawn irrigation at 3 and 4 o'clock in the morning for the desired time.
- Measure the humidity in the room and indicate the status for the owner to eliminate mold.
- Prepare LOXONE and other extensions throughout the house. Such as energy management, spot prices together with PV, lighting, shading and access.

Solution
The solution was a LOXONE Miniserver Compact together with a wireless RGBW dimmer that controls lighting and irrigation. In the room, a Touch Tree and an IR electricity meter for electricity measurement.
LOXONE allows for endless possibilities for controlling and diagnosing the house. I also see the main advantage in the possibilities of expanding the implementation according to the customer's wishes.
