Challenge
The Experience Magnetism Gallery is a museum run by the SUMIDA company at the Erlau site, which, in addition to the company's history, also shows exhibitions on magnetism and the invention of sound film by the company's founder Dr. Hans Vogt. The building was to be intelligently automated in all areas, have attractive modern lighting and also include some of the special functions that a museum brings with it.
Solution
- LED spots RGBW together with Pendulum Slim provide the lighting. Indirect lighting with LED strips and RGBW Dimmers in the ceiling area and around exhibition showcases round off the lighting concept. The lighting is controlled completely automatically using presence detectors.
- Basic sound with background music is provided by an Audioserver with ceiling speakers from Quadral.
- Automated heating and cooling via underfloor heating with individual room control by Valve Actuators and a heat pump integrated via Modbus.
- A tablet with the Loxone App installed on the wall can be used to show interested visitors not only the basic functions of the building but also energy data from other SUMIDA locations (power consumption, photovoltaics, etc.). The energy consumption and photovoltaic systems of the SUMIDA locations worldwide are digitised and can be easily accessed and displayed via Loxone.
