Challenge

The challenge for this project was to create a fully automated system that, after payment via the payment column, initiates all processes. This includes:



Lighting: Automatic adjustment of mood lighting based on the status of the room.



Heating and climate control: Automatic adjustment to comfort levels during rental and energy saving when rooms are not in use.



Status management: Different statuses such as “ready for rental”, “in rental” and “out of rental” control all processes without manual intervention needed.

Solution

Building Automation Configuration: The system automates lighting and climate control based on inputs from the payment terminal.



Energy Efficiency: By heating or lighting rooms only when they are in use, energy consumption is significantly reduced.



Status Visualisation and Monitoring: Staff can follow the status of each room in real time via the Loxone interface.
