Challenge
Through careful planning and selection of electrical and hydraulic equipment and the integration of the latest technologies, it is possible to achieve a zero-energy house and reduce running costs to a minimum. This ensures that the house is not only environmentally friendly, but also offers long-term cost savings for the customer.
Solution
This single-family home is a showcase example of sustainable living and state-of-the-art technology. With the Loxone building system and a PV system from Neoom, the house becomes a self-sufficient energy producer that covers its own electricity needs while offering maximum comfort for the residents.
Energy-efficient heating and comfort:
The combination of infrared radiators from Redwell and electric underfloor heating from Etherma ensures pleasant warmth throughout the house. The heating is controlled intelligently, based on presence, timer and the state of the windows, saving energy and maximizing comfort.
Intelligent lighting control and shading:
Loxone takes over the lighting control with Touch Pure switches and presence detectors to ensure optimal lighting in every room. The automatic shading not only serves as a privacy screen, but also helps with heating and cooling the house.
Comprehensive security and monitoring systems:
The smart home offers a high level of security, with window contacts and presence detectors that report break-ins. In addition, all components are temperature-monitored to provide early warning of potential fire hazards.
Weather monitoring and intelligent irrigation:
An integrated weather station and weather service provide information on local weather conditions, enabling intelligent irrigation. Irrigation only occurs when no rain is expected and the water level in the cistern is monitored.
Access control and interactivity:
Access to the house is via the NFC Code Touch, which enables user-dependent access. Guests can simply ring the Loxone Intercom to gain entry. Loxone's audio system warns residents of guests, open windows or storms with text-to-speech messages.
