Church of St. Fiden

This church in St. Gallen was built in 1810 and is now undergoing renovation. The advantages of intelligent home and building automation from Loxone were also incorporated into the church.

The entire lighting system was modernised and given a new control system. Thanks to Loxone, it is now easy to create and manage different lighting scenes for the masses and customised moods for events. The lighting scenes can be changed throughout the church with a simple click of a touch. The security lighting is also controlled via Loxone and all error messages are issued via the Loxone app. Some of the exterior lighting has also been integrated into Loxone.



The right climate is very important in the church, especially because of the organ. Loxone monitors the temperature and humidity in the church. Various time programmes for lighting and ventilation were also stored.



The user-friendly visualisation and handling of the Loxone app prove to be extremely beneficial for the sacristan and save a lot of time.
