Sartaguda Day Center

The objective of this project was to provide the Sartaguda Day Center with a comprehensive automation system powered by LOXONE to ensure an efficient, comfortable, and safe space. It integrates shading control, DALI lighting with presence detection, air conditioning using aerothermal energy and direct expansion units, natural ventilation through skylights, and a weather station into a single platform. All of this is intended to optimize energy consumption, improve indoor air quality, and facilitate the center's daily management, ensuring the maximum well-being of its users.

Sartaguda Day Center: Comfort and Efficiency Thanks to LOXONE
At the Sartaguda Day Center, we developed a complete integration project with LOXONE, with the aim of providing the building with intelligent control that guarantees energy efficiency, comfort for users, and ease of management for staff.

🌞 Automated Shading Control
The center has slatted blinds fully integrated into the system, which allow the management of natural light and prevent overheating of the spaces. All of this is done automatically according to the time of day, solar radiation, and the needs of each room.
In addition, the system is supported by a weather Station, which provides real-time information on wind, rain, and solar radiation. This allows the blinds to be equipped with safety functions (protecting them in the event of a storm or strong wind) and, at the same time, enables predictive actions for the air conditioning based on outside conditions.

💡 Efficient Lighting with DALI
Thanks to DALI gateway integration, all the center's luminaires are precisely controlled. The use of occupancy sensors allows the lights to be switched on and dimmed automatically, optimizing power consumption and ensuring a comfortable and safe environment for users and staff.

🌡️ Smart and Centralized Climate Control
The climate control system has been fully integrated with LOXONE:
An air source heat pump produces hot water and provides underfloor heating in bathrooms and locker rooms.
In intensively used areas (offices, physiotherapy, multipurpose rooms, occupational therapy, and the dining room), direct expansion indoor units, controlled via Modbus RTU, have been installed to quickly and efficiently adjust the temperature based on occupancy and usage.

🌬️ Automated Natural Ventilation
In addition, the opening and closing controls for four skylight windows have been integrated, allowing for natural and controlled ventilation, improving air quality and reducing the need for artificial air conditioning.
