Passive House in Roses

Passive House in Roses

Challenge

We carried out this project in the coastal town of Roses with the help of the construction company Arquima. A construction company that relies heavily on Loxone for the intelligent control of its homes. The goal, as always in a passive house, is maximum efficiency without giving up comfort. In this case, the house had zoned underfloor heating, as well as centralized fan coils per floor with aerothermal generation. The climate control had to be supported by the blinds to optimize the energy management of the home. Also included was the control of the air renewal system, access to the home, lighting and audio control integrated into the system.

Solution

Requiring a combination of Loxone's Tree and Air technologies, the installation of a Compac miniserver was chosen. This also integrates the audio solution, so only a Stereo Extension and two Passive 7 speakers had to be added to have two audio zones for the kitchen and living room. The Miniserver Compac meets the demands of the different climatic zones and the fan coils are operated by Nano 2 Relay in their different contacts for air delivery and valve opening. The passage areas are automated with adjustable lights for lower intensity at night. The new Touch Pure CO2 were the mechanisms chosen, since they combine the design and functionalities necessary to control air renewal. The shading system, with blinds with adjustable slats, is connected to the climate and the weather station to support energy performance, allowing shading when the sun hits the home the most.

On the outside, NFC Code Touch keyboards facilitate keyless access for owners or visitors, allowing you to create, add, and manage access codes as well as schedules and permissions. These are located at the pedestrian entrance to the street, along with the Loxone Intercom, and at the main entrance door. The exterior lights turn on automatically by twilight pulse.

It is noteworthy that such a complete control of a home like this, which includes several systems that are related to each other, is simple and fast, allowing the home to be delivered on time and with all its functionalities working without problems. The reliability provided by the Loxone system in this regard is remarkable. The combination of technologies allows for incredible ease of installation and commissioning.
