Challenge
The LaboQuarroz project encompassed several challenges: centralizing temperature and humidity management and history, controlling and controlling refrigerators and freezers, designing a water dispenser with precise dosing (quantity and temperature), integrating fire, SOS, and LAA alarms, ensuring access control, burglar detection, and comprehensive lighting management.
The overall objective was to bring everything together in a single, intuitive, and reliable application, while also allowing for scalability to a shop/self-service facility, which was already partially implemented.

Solution
To meet these diverse needs, the LaboQuarroz project was fully automated around the Loxone ecosystem.
The refrigerators are controlled and monitored via the Modbus RTU protocol, ensuring precise monitoring and reliable alarm reporting, while the freezer is integrated using Nano IO Air modules, ensuring direct, wireless control.
The infrastructure relies on a dense network of 1-Wire sensors and Touch Tree switches for precise temperature and humidity measurement.
Security is enhanced by the integration of Reolink cameras and Tedee locks, both accessible from the same Loxone interface.
Finally, for reception and audio comfort, an IP64 Master Satellite Speaker broadcasts messages and background music—a way to both inform the owner and entertain customers.

I'm really happy with our collaboration!<br /><br /> Today, I was able to test one of Loxone's features: I had a client who forgot to pick up his bread, even though I was supposed to be in Monthey, 15 km away. The client called me, and I said, "Go to my lab, I'll open the door for you remotely."<br /><br /> 👉 A real plus, especially with just one app!<br /><br /> <br /><br /> You can call on Denis, a charming, highly professional person who doesn't give up until the project is perfect!<br /><br /> Thank you, Denis 🙏<br /><br />
