Challenge
The task was the automation of a biogas plant with a direct entry of garden waste and stable manure and a hygienization for the recycling of food waste.

Solution
2 mini servers take over all control tasks. The control of the hygienization was implemented with the module "sequence control", the entire heating circuits run with PID controllers. Several interfaces were used to communicate with the components: ModbusTCP, ModbusRTU, TreeInterkommunikation etc.
Since we didn't have any very fast or critical processes and wanted to have a simple visualization, we decided to use the Loxone project.<br /><br /> The safety circuits were implemented using external switching devices.<br /><br /> Unfortunately we were half a year too early for the 4-20mA extension, we still have a few signal couplers in use.
