Challenge
In the world of renewable energies, operators of biogas plants regularly face unforeseen challenges. A particularly tricky situation arose when the telephone connection to a biogas plant suddenly broke. The immediate need to provide a reliable replacement reporting system presented those responsible with the task of finding a quick and secure solution.
The key challenge was to implement an effective reporting system that not only takes over the functions of the broken telephone line, but is also able to send alerts to different people. Time was a critical factor as delays could lead to undesirable consequences for plant operations.

Solution
The solution was a Miniserver from Loxone, which we installed in a flash. By connecting to the system's fault message output and activating a Loxone caller, we were able to send messages again via a gigacube. The best thing about it is how several people can be notified immediately, and thanks to the Loxone app, the condition of the system can be checked at any time.
We simply relied on Loxone because nothing would have worked faster, easier, safer and more cost-effectively. In addition, the system operator was able to sleep in peace again with the certainty that he would be informed if a malfunction occurred. At the request of the system operator, the Miniserver was not removed after the telephone connection was repaired. It sends out the reports faster than the old system and, of course, it also has the app which is a game changer.
