Before the Loxone building automation was implemented at Baudisch, there was a separate control system for each subject, such as for the fire alarm system, alarm system, heating control, etc. The shading worked electronically, but was not automated. This mix of many different systems, the unreliability and malfunctions were the trigger that the system was replaced with Loxone.

Four miniserver client-gateway concentrators take control of the entire building: from offices to product development, lab, production and shipping. All areas of application such as ventilation, shading, security, climate,... play together perfectly. Security specific issues such as window monitoring was retrofitted with Loxone Air technology and Air window handles. The alarm system is automatically activated when there is no employee left in the building. As soon as the alarm system turns on, all doors are automatically closed - if there is still one open.



In the past, the PV system and inverter repeatedly experienced problems that went unnoticed. To prevent this in the future, an automatic notification via push notification has been set up. If there is a problem with the inverter, the management and the building technicians will receive the message "Check inverter."
