Bakery Pijpers

Challenge

The challenge was to remove as much human intervention as possible, not only for light but also to automatically adjust ventilation to needs. Multimedia basically for radio but also for notifications. The installation must remain functional in the event of a power failure, including a minimum amount of light.

Solution

The 230V lighting in all rooms is based on presence. Some of the lamps are powered from a UPS. The Loxone Miniserver is linked to equipment such as: ovens, extractor hoods, freezer rooms, automatic doors. This allows the Miniserver to, for example, open doors in an emergency situation, report that someone has left the freezer door open, activate extraction at the end of the baking program (before the oven doors open), open a warehouse door with a code for a supplier and from a central point. There it is also visible whether a warehouse door is not closed. The staff does not use an app.

Loxone was chosen for this project to have flexibility for the future and certainly in close coordination with the bakery owner.
