Mail Generator & Call Generator: Automated, customised notifications
The new Mail Generator and Call Generator Function Blocks allow you to construct messages with variables, similar to the Text Generator. Emails or calls can contain information about users, sensor data, energy consumption, and much more. This simplifies documentation and improves user-friendliness.
One application example is charging at a wallbox: At the end of the charging process, users automatically receive an email with the most important information about the charging process.
PV Production Forecast: Align Generation and Consumption
The new PV production forecasting module uses Weather Service data to predict how much energy a PV system is likely to produce. This enables even smarter energy management, for example, by maintaining reserves in storage when low production is forecast.
Further Innovations in Energy management
Flexible adjustments for the Spot Price Optimizer:
In the future, new functions can be activated flexibly for the Spot Price Optimizer without a config update. This allows for quick responses to market changes – such as a change in the intervals.
Energy Meter – Transmission cycle of 0.1 seconds:
The transmission cycle of all Loxone Meters can now be set to 0.1 seconds for special applications. This is particularly useful where a high reaction speed is crucial, such as in load management for DC charging stations.
New Energy Meters for Current Transformers – now available!
No way to modify the wiring? No space in the distribution board for a direct meter? Need to measure high currents or large-diameter wires? Our new Energy Meters for Current Transformers are the solution – easy to install and quick to commission. Seamless integration is achieved via Loxone Tree.
They come in two versions with perfectly matched folding current transformer sets. This allows currents up to 400A and conductors with a diameter of up to 35mm to be measured accurately.

Improved user experience in Loxone Config
With version 16, we continue to introduce major improvements to the user interface. So that you can continue to implement your projects in an efficient manner.
Clearer Properties Window
Parameters, general information, permissions and much more – the properties window combines many practical functions. To help you find the right properties even faster, we’ve redesigned it:
- A filter has been added to make it more accessible to search for properties
- We have highlighted the most frequently used parameters. With all others now displayed under ‘Advanced Parameters’
- Design improvements have further simplified operation in the properties window.
Increased contrast, improved visibility
We received a lot of feedback on version 16. Based on this, the update improves the visibility of objects such as connecting lines and building blocks by increasing contrast.
Revised Radio Button Function Block
Editing the outputs of the Radio Button Function Block has been simplified and is now even more intuitive.
Further usability improvements
- Easy activation of full-screen mode with F10
- Better visibility of selected objects and their connections through highlighting
- Clear separation of documentation in the visualisation and in Loxone Config
- Note texts: for annotations that are displayed in the visualisation
- New note type ‘Documentation’: for comments that are only visible in Config
Greater efficiency in large Scale projects
Thanks to the latest update, Loxone Exosphere is now significantly more efficient, especially for large projects – fewer clicks, increased automation and more flexible workflows:
- Automatic backups and updates – now controllable at workspace level
- Duplicate dashboards and charts faster and replace data points with just a few clicks
- Provisioning codes for specific elements for quick and easy addition of new Miniservers
Have you seen it yet? Improved Audio Player & Performance Boost for the Loxone App
The revised Audio Player boasts a modern, intuitive design. But that’s not all: shorter loading times ensure even more enjoyment of the outstanding sound of the Loxone audio system.
The App improvements aren’t limited to just the Audio Player: Navigation in the Loxone App is now up to 30% faster. This is particularly noticeable on pages with a lot of content, such as the Category Overview, the Central Control, or the Energy Flow Monitor.
