Our Loxone engineering team wrote a driver that allows for integration of the Bond Bridge Pro into the Loxone ecosystem. As the Loxone ecosystem is steeped in energy management, shading, wellness, climate, access and lighting solutions, the compatibility of Bond and Loxone makes for a more enjoyable and energy efficient life within commercial and home environments.
What is Bond?
Bond is from Olibra, LLC, a privately-owned NJ tech company established in 2016 with a focus of making motorized window shades, awnings, pergolas, ceiling fans, and gas fireplaces simpler and more delightful to use. The Bond Bridge RF-to-WiFi platform was launched in 2018 with the Bond Bridge. This brought intuitive Smartphone control to these appliances. In 2021 came the Bond Bridge Pro, bringing expanded capabilities and integration with Crestron, Savant, Control4, Elan, RTI, URC, Homebridge and Apple HomeKit automation and Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, SmartThings Apps and Josh.ai voice activation.
The Bond platform is increasingly becoming recognized as the preferred way to control these types of appliances. It has earned this leadership position for its extreme flexibility (collaborating with brands), simple set-up, exceptional range, and reasonable pricing.

2023 brought the Sidekick for Shades Gen2 wireless (RF), flush-mount, battery-powered keypad. With expanded capabilities over previous keypads, Gen2 works with Somfy/Somfy RTS, Rollease Acmeda, Coulisse/Motion Blinds, MagnaTrack, Dooya bi- and uni-directional, A-OK, Nice (Green), Gaposa, PowerShades, and AMP Motorization hade motors.
