Finally, hidden in the tall trees at the back of the property is the last backyard makeover surprise from this beautifully redone outdoor space – an ‘office pod’. Both lighting and heating inside the pod are controlled using a Multi Extension Air. Amica also installed security features to the office pod with Door & Window Contact Air as well as a Motion Sensor Air. With a Smoke Detector Air to round off this small spots security functions, peace of mind is fully achieved.

Greenhouse Garden Lighting Scenes
Following a kitchen renovation with smart heating, windows, blinds, smoke alarms, and lighting, Loxone Partner, Wiise, was asked by their customer, Michael, to do a backyard project. He requested to have some power and lighting added to the garden’s greenhouse to surprise his partner as a birthday present. However, there was a catch: it had to be done in just one day.
The Wiise team installed special lighting ‘scenes’ with LED strips for the greenhouse which can be activated and cycled through with a Touch Air switch. Plus, with the small-but-mighty device’s built-in sensors, it’s possible to monitor the temperature and humidity from the Loxone App. A final touch put in this greenhouse was having the heater automated with a ‘Frost Watch’ mode to ensure the temperature never drops below a specified degree.
Merging Indoor & Outdoor Living
Loxone Partner, Wiise, has an affinity for outside spaces! In another backyard makeover project, their customer was looking to create a space that blended the inside and outside of their home to make more room for entertaining in the summer months.
The lighting plan was carefully crafted to give as much depth and width as possible to the backyard. With this in mind, they perfected the outside scene so the yard was lit up in the evening without being too bright and overpowering.

Having a space to unwind is an absolute must-have nowadays and this BBQ hut tucked into a garden seems to be a perfect solution. A cross between a hobbit house and a cozy hunting lodge, and complete with antlers adorning the doorway – automated luxury awaits any newcomer stepping inside.
Using lighting to enhance the space, this partner used color-changing LED light strips all around the inner coving. For the ultimate experience, the strips can be changed to any scene desired with the Loxone Touch switch on the wall. Whether it’s red for a warm, cozy glow in the winter, or a cool blue for when the homeowner is simply looking to lounge unbothered.
With the addition of a motion sensor, the lights are automatically brought on when someone enters the hut and – more importantly – switched off when nobody’s hanging out.
