To do that, speak with the estate agent or seller from whom you purchased the house.

Find your Partner

Determine who installed the system by asking the previous owners, or find a new installer via the LOXONE Partner Search.

Make it your own

Login to the LOXONE App and set everything up according to your preferences. Then sit back and enjoy your lovely new home.

The ideal scenario
Ideally, the access details – Miniserver login, Loxone Config file, and app access – are already included in the handover documents when purchasing the house. It is best to actively ask for them during completion of the house.
No access available?
Then another LOXONE Partner will help you. They can identify the Miniserver on-site and technically reconfigure the access settings as part of the handover.
Important
Once you have access, you should deactivate the previous owner’s access credentials and set a new administrator password. This is the only way to ensure that truly only you – and anyone you choose – have access to your home.
Natürlich ist es auch weiterhin möglich, ein Tablet zu verwenden, wenn das die Präferenz deiner Kund:innen ist. Wir bei LOXONE sind jedoch der Meinung, dass das Wall Display für Gebäude gerade auf lange Sicht nicht nur einfacher ist, sondern auch günstiger:

How do I find a Partner?

  • Ask first who did the original installation. The original Partner is already familiar with the system and can usually easily handle the handover.
  • Don’t know who the original installer was? Find a new local installation Partner on the LOXONE Partner Search Map, who can also carry out the handover.

What might the first steps of me interacting with the system look like?

Once access and Partners are sorted out, you can get started: Login to the LOXONE App set it up, create user profiles for all family members, and tailor schedules and lighting scenes to your daily routine. Then sit back and relax. Your home adapts and supports your daily life.

Gibt es ein LOXONE Netzteil zur Herstellung der 24-V-Stromversorgung?

Ist keine Tree Turbo Leitung vorhanden? Dann kannst du das Wall Display trotzdem mithilfe eines Wi-Fi-Adapters oder eines USB-C-LAN-Adapters verbinden. Voraussetzung ist eine 24-V-Stromversorgung. Kann keine Leitung gezogen werden und ist nur 230V vorhanden, kann ein 24-V-Unterputznetzteil zur Versorgung verwendet werden. How can I control the LOXONE system?

First things first: Since this is an intelligent automation system, you rarely need to intervene yourself. However, if you do want to control the system, you can do so at any time. Users most often intervene when they move into a new house or want to adjust schedules and moods. Everything important can be easily managed via the LOXONE App control. Additionally, the touch buttons enable on-site control.

Does the system work without Wi-Fi?

Haven’t set up your Wi-Fi yet? No problem. LOXONE operates independently of Wi-Fi and the cloud. This ensures that the system is unaffected by internet outages and also provides a high level of security.

Note: App access is not possible without Wi-Fi, and during the initial setup of Miniservers, Wi-Fi is required. However, since you are connecting to an existing Smart Home network, this doesn’t affect you.

Can guests who are unfamiliar with the house or less tech-savvy also operate the system?

Yes, you’ll find all the functions you need on the Touch Switch (Lighting, Shading, Audio) –
mostly designed according to the T5 Standard.
