The challenge was to integrate state-of-the-art technology inconspicuously into a traditional, venerable building without compromising the aesthetic appearance with a multitude of visible switches. At the same time, the heating control system had to be designed as efficiently as possible - especially in view of the impressive ceiling heights of over four meters.

We have taken the already modern and minimalist design of the Loxone control elements in the bathroom to a new level by using the Touch Surface Tree. The controls are operated via invisible touch points that are integrated directly into a tile in the shower.



The implementation of this innovative solution was challenging and required a great deal of patience and precision. The operating concept was sandblasted into the tile, requiring several attempts to achieve the perfect result. In addition, a sealed cavity was created behind the tiles in order to reliably integrate the technology without compromising functionality or aesthetics. Finally, the tile pattern also had to be perfectly matched to meet the high visual demands.
