An apartment block with 18 units was built in Mainz in 2020. In addition to lighting, shading, heating and ventilation, an access system was also realised with Loxone.

A Miniserver was installed in each unit, which forms the centrepiece of each flat. Automatic shading and intelligent room temperature control help to save energy. The Loxone app can be used to analyse and monitor your own power consumption via the energy monitor. Thanks to the automated lighting, homeowners can also set their own lighting scenes in the Loxone app. This means that every atmosphere is accompanied by the right lighting scene. Thanks to the enormous interface openness, it was also possible to integrate the built-in kitchen appliances into the Loxone system.



There is also a central miniserver for building control in the apartment block. There is an NFC code touch for floor preselection in the lift. Furthermore, the entire access system was realised with an NFC Code Touch. Centralised user management can be carried out via the app. A video surveillance system also ensures the security of the building. The lighting in the stairwell was also integrated into the Loxone system - DALI lighting components now ensure energy-optimised lighting. The emergency lighting unit is also monitored. The existing SHEV system for ventilation control was also integrated into the Loxone system. 14 e-charging stations were installed in the underground car park of the residential building. Loxone ensures intelligent load management here.
