Whistlers Barn

The former barn in Oxfordshire was renovated, converted and extended to provide larger living areas with the help of Loxone smart technology. For Whistlers Barn, the control of lighting, heating and the security system were implemented via Loxone. With wired as well as wireless components, Loxone was a perfect fit for the Whistlers Barn renovation and retrofit. It was also important for the owners to know that everything was in order in the house, even when they were traveling.

The house has a mixture of mood, task and accent lighting, the use of LED's in this provided a more energy efficient and therefore more attractive solution for the homeowners. The design of the heating system allows for one of the boilers to be used as an independent heat source if the addition to the house is used separately. During the arrival, the underfloor heating can be conveniently switched on via the Loxone app. Thanks to the Loxone smart security system, the property is protected against burglary attempts.
