Challenge
The investor's aim was to reduce costs in production operations and efficiently control energy consumption and temperatures in the individual rooms.
Solution
The company, which also includes a residential area, relies on a combination of Huawei photovoltaics and Loxone control to manage energy consumption efficiently. The aim was to optimally control the heating systems in order to adapt the energy flow and temperature to the respective requirements. Several heating modes were set up for this purpose: A fast heat-up mode for all boilers to provide immediate heat, a slow heat-up mode for night-time operation in low tariff, as well as a reserve with a fully heated boiler. In addition, the entire system is charged by the power plant during summer operation.
The investor only required an output of 1 kW. To ensure that the electrical system supplies enough energy, a connection was made to the SSR control system to optimize the output according to requirements and increase efficiency.
