Fully automated tennis hall

Operating a tennis hall traditionally involves key handovers, coin-operated machines, manual lighting, and ongoing heating costs – even when no courts are in use. The operator wanted a solution that would fully automate the entire process: anyone wanting to play should simply pay and start playing. No staff, no cash, no downtime costs.

At the heart of the system is a Loxone Miniserver, which handles the complete control of lighting and heating. A credit card terminal serves as the user interface: players pay conveniently by credit or debit card, smartphone, or smartwatch, and Loxone then automatically activates the lights and heating for the booked court and time period.
