Villa K. Cologne

The villa in Cologne was comprehensively renovated to create a state-of-the-art living environment. With a living space of approximately 1000 m², our goal was to create a holistic automation solution that not only offers technical modernization but also a high level of living comfort.

The project includes comprehensive technical equipment for the building, including dimmable and color-changeable DALI lighting. Automatic shading elements provide privacy and adapt to weather conditions. Climate control is provided by underfloor heating and air conditioning units, supported by a solar-controlled system. A zone-based sound system offers individual music and volume control, as well as announcements and alarm notifications. Security is ensured by comprehensive alarm technology and keyless access. Energy management is handled centrally via a miniserver, which also supplies the wallbox with PV power. Key building components are equipped with sensors that monitor temperature, humidity, and door status. All systems are networked and operate autonomously, but can be manually controlled. Lighting and sound effects create a pleasant atmosphere. The building thus optimizes the living comfort and safety of its residents.
