The objective was to automatically, intelligently, and optimally control photovoltaic electricity production, solar thermal heating of domestic hot water, and pool management, with a single goal: maximum comfort and sustainable energy savings.

LOXONE monitors and orchestrates the production of solar thermal hot water, photovoltaic production, and their uses in real time:

Optimized domestic hot water production:
• Precise temperature control of the storage tank based on solar probes and the DHW tank.

• In case of excess heat, energy is intelligently redirected to the pool to prevent overheating and maximize the use of free solar energy.

Solar Pool Heating
• Pool heating is prioritized when solar conditions are favorable, without user intervention.

Complete and Autonomous Pool Management

Pool filtration and treatment are fully automated:
• Filtration prioritizes operation over photovoltaic production
• Filtration time is automatically adjusted according to water temperature
• Integrated frost protection
• Smart alerts and reminders for filter maintenance

Result: a consistently clean, safe, and energy-efficient pool, without daily hassles.

Intelligent heating and thermal comfort: LOXONE also controls:
• Underfloor heating via the heat pump
• Auxiliary electric radiators upstairs

Everything is automatically regulated based on:
• Indoor and outdoor temperatures
• Occupant presence
• The home's energy priorities

The heart of the system is the LOXONE Miniserver, combined with the Multi Extension Air:
• Relays perfectly suited for controlling pumps and equipment
• One-Wire bus for precise monitoring of all temperatures: domestic hot water tank, solar collectors, pool water, indoor, outdoor…

The extremely flexible LOXONE programming allows for precise responses to the customer's needs and anticipates future changes to the installation.

Clear and intuitive monitoring: thanks to LOXONE, the user can see the overall system status at a glance: production, consumption, temperatures, operating modes… Everything is clear, legible, and accessible remotely.
