The smart Spreewald dream

Amidst the enchanting backdrop of the rural idyll of the Spreewald in southern Brandenburg, the fascinating vision of transforming a traditional attic into an avant-garde, fully automated apartment was born. This project was much more than just the redesign of rooms; it involved the harmonious integration of state-of-the-art technologies to ensure the highest level of comfort and efficiency. In addition, existing technology for energy generation and landscape maintenance was to be seamlessly integrated into this overall concept in order to create a holistic living and nature experience.

The conversion began with the redesign of the structure of the attic to ensure optimal use of space. Modern architectural concepts were taken into account to create an open and inviting ambience that also meets the needs of the residents. A central aspect of the project was the integration of automation technologies. By implementing an intelligent control system from Loxone, every facet of the apartment - from lighting and shading to room temperature and ventilation to security and multi-room audio - could be controlled seamlessly and efficiently. This enabled the residents to adapt their living space to their individual preferences while saving energy.

Although the Miniserver serves all facets of the apartment, controlling the apartment through the tablets remains a true feast for the senses, a moment that celebrates the seamless fusion of technology and coziness. The user interface presents itself in exquisite elegance, invitingly designed with intuitive icons and clear menu structures that make navigating the apartment's diverse functions child's play. A gentle touch of the screen is all it takes to create the ambience - from a soft, warm glow for relaxed evenings to a bright, invigorating light for productive days.

The result is a harmonious interplay of modern technology and natural beauty, offering residents a unique and comfortable living experience in an idyllic setting. Converting an attic into a fully automated apartment was a challenge that was overcome with creative solutions and expert planning.
