Challenge

The challenges in this project were the integration and control of non-Loxone products.

Full integration of a salt battery storage 18kWh.

Control of the heat pump for excess consumption.

Rainwater tank with visualization of consumption

Display of the current self-sufficiency of the entire building.

Solution

With the help of the Modbus network interface and the Modbus data from the device supplier, we were able to visualize the salt battery storage 100% in the Loxone system, and the emergency reserve can also be adjusted from the storage from the visualization.



Thanks to the Loxone control, the heat pump is now able to run various operating modes even in the event of a power failure and thus maintain isolated operation for as long as possible without sacrificing comfort.

The most important aspect of this project was sustainability.<br /><br /> Sustainability also means that the energy generated<br /><br /> is consumed itself and thus an independent network operation is guaranteed.<br /><br /> For this reason, together with the client, we decided to use Loxone.<br /><br /> Thanks to Loxone, we managed to maintain 82% self-sufficiency for a whole year.
