Smart Stall in Lungern

Challenge

In everyday life, we already automate lights and blinds in apartments that are supposed to open or close at a certain time. However, everything still can be controlled manually. Starting with basic components, the system can be flexibly expanded at any time.

Solution

Whether it's hay ventilation with the appropriate sensors, the gate to the cowshed, or even the manure scraper: the farmer can now monitor and control all of this from the comfort of his sofa using the Loxone App on his smartphone or tablet. Walking outside is unnecessary. For example, if the farmer is still on the road and wants to start the manure scraper, it can be activated and checked on remotely with a camera. Thanks to the cameras installed, he always has a view of his cattle in the barn, no matter where he is. At the touch of a button on his cell phone, he can open the barn door and let his cows out into the pasture. In addition, the integrated temperature and humidity sensors, smoke detectors and water sensors are safety components that will detect a possible disaster at an early stage. This offers the most comfort and safety possible for both the people and the animals.

Building automation control is common in many homes and businesses today. The new technologies think for themselves and simplify everyday processes. Thanks to the use of the right systems and the current progress costs,

a building automation is only a fraction more than a conventional installation. Why shouldn't agriculture also benefit from this?
