Smart building renovation

The building was completely renovated in terms of housekeeping and energy technology. Office spaces were built on the ground and upper floors, a residential unit on the first attic and a new technical room with a new heat pump on the second attic. In this context, the client wanted a reliable, uniform control system for the entire building.

Especially in renovation, Loxone can fully exploit its strengths and advantages thanks to the interface-free combination of wired Tree and radio-based Air components. While most of the office space could be rewired because new suspended ceilings were created here, the cabling in the attic had to be kept to a minimum. After the renovation, we implemented heating and cooling (ceiling heating/cooling or underfloor heating in the apartment), ventilation (central ventilation with heat recovery in the offices), shading, lighting with LED strips, spots and ceiling lights, alarm system, video intercom system with keyless entry in all units and of course ultimately the energy management with integration of the PV system and heat pump. The electricity meters (via Modbus) as well as all the heat and water meters (M-Bus) were integrated into the Loxone system, which makes billing particularly convenient for the owner.
