Smart Home in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence

Taking over an abandoned construction site where the KNX installation was already wired but not yet complete, and transforming it into a 400 m² Loxone smart home on three levels. This property, intended for seasonal rentals, required a comprehensive and reliable solution capable of autonomously managing all the equipment. The major challenge was reusing the entire existing KNX wiring network while migrating to Loxone technology, without modifying the existing infrastructure. It was also necessary to design an intuitive system for occasional tenants, while ensuring security and energy savings.

We completed a full migration to Loxone, leveraging the existing KNX cabling and transforming this unfinished project into a high-performance, modern smart home. The system integrates intelligent lighting management with energy-efficient 24V LEDs in every room, controlled by occupancy sensors to optimize energy consumption. Roller shutters, heating, and outdoor lighting are coordinated according to automated scenarios adapted to the different seasons. Security is ensured by a comprehensive alarm system coupled with intelligent access control, while the swimming pool benefits from automated filtration and heating management. Multi-room audio provides a musical ambiance throughout the house, and everything can be centrally controlled via the Loxone app.
