This impressive self-build project had been evolving for six years, resulting in a home filled with potential but lacking technological harmony. Like many tech-savvy homeowners, our client had accumulated various systems over time - from generic app connected switches to proprietary apps for heating, ventilation, Solar PV, and fire alarms.



While the technology was there, the "smart" experience wasn't. The client was suffering from "app fatigue," juggling multiple interfaces with frustratingly low stability. As the build neared completion, they wanted to add robust security and access control but were hesitant. They worried that adding more tech would only increase the complexity.



The Challenge: The client was happy with their existing devices and didn't want to rip them out and start over. They needed a way to protect their previous investments while solving the usability crisis.

The Solution: Our goal wasn't to replace, but to unify. We stepped in to bridge the gap, bringing all those disjointed systems under one intuitive interface. We moved the logic to the background, allowing the house to think for itself so the client didn't have to worry about it.



By pairing the Loxone Miniserver with the elegant Touch Pure switch, we were able to give this client exactly what they needed to get started - without breaking the bank. We began by automating key shading areas and lighting circuits, creating immediate comfort and convenience.

As the client lived with their new smart home and fell in love with the lifestyle improvements, we seamlessly expanded the system to include energy monitoring, access control, and integration with their existing smart tech.
