Mental Health Castilla y León

Challenge

The main objective of the project is to provide extra security to the Mental Health supervised homes of Castilla y León so that the users' guardians can control the state of the home.

Solution

The Mental Health Association of Castilla y León has supervised apartments in all the provinces of the community.

We have carried out installations in 112 homes distributed in Burgos, Zamora, Valladolid, Soria, Segovia, Salamanca, Palencia, León and Ávila.

Depending on the type of home and the type of user who lives in it, different products have been installed in each home, taking into account the specific needs of each case:

- Door or window sensors: display of the status of doors and windows to know if users leave any door or window open.

- Flood sensor: installation of sensors in kitchens and bathrooms with an alarm in case a flood is detected and to have users under control.

- Natural gas detector: installation in kitchens to have an alarm in case of a gas leak and notify the guardians.

- Smartsocket: installation of different smart sockets to be able to control the operating times of the devices plugged into them. For example in the ceramic hob.

- Temperature sensor: to display the temperature of the room where it is installed and to be able to act with the heating accordingly.

- Heating valve actuators: installed to manage the climate of each automatic room.

- Smoke detector: installed in kitchens to have an alarm in case of a possible fire and notify the guardians
