Single Family Home Rehabilitation

Challenge
Automate a single-family house of about 300 square meters and about 700 square meters of garden, which is going to be renovated to improve the qualities and habitability. The objective is to have access control, lighting, shading, security, both inside and outside.
Solution
In the design and planning, different registration boxes were taken into account, distributed on each floor and on the outside to house the necessary devices and control the wiring distances. As it was a comprehensive reform, it was used to wire the entire house and garden with Tree, communicating the negatives of the sources with each other from each register box.
For the interior according to the different categories, the following was used:
- Lighting: RGBW IP68 indirect light LED strips for bathrooms, Relay Extension (to control light points from other manufacturers), RGBW IP20 LED strips for night mode in bedrooms, SPOT WW LEDs and RGBW pendulums in the kitchen. All managed by built-in presence detectors and Touch Pure buttons for bathrooms and bedrooms, Touch Tree for the rest. On the stairs we use Tree presence detectors. Also an external presence sensor to illuminate in case of presence and low external light. RGBW IP68 LEDs were installed in the pool. A Nano to Relay was installed on the porch to control a water sprayer managed automatically by the presence sensor and the temperature of the Touch in that area.
- Shading: The blinds motors were connected with Nano to Relay.
- Security: Contact sensors for doors and windows, interior presence sensors, exterior presence sensor, flood sensors and smoke sensors were used in different rooms.
- Access: The new Intercom was installed together with the NFC keyboard, configured with mobile phones to facilitate access to the family's home. A profile was configured on a tablet in the kitchen, so that the maintenance and cleaning staff can have access exclusively to the functions and functionalities that depend on them.

Both our client and ourselves knew that Loxone was the perfect option, first of all because the object was to have total control and this is a great added value to be able to have so many functionalities in a single application. And secondly, because from the beginning, the client had many doubts about how he would like to configure each room according to the functions installed, but this did not worry us because we knew that with Loxone we could do any type of configuration.
