IMACSA cutting plant

IMACSA is a company founded in 1974, and specialized in pork cutting. They have the largest cutting plant in the Community of Madrid, and it is among the largest in Spain, with a production of more than 50 million kilos per year, and distribution to Europe, Asia, America and Africa. The objective of the project is to provide the plant with maximum security against unwanted access, the management of access for the dozens of trucks that load and unload at the plant daily, as well as the automation of processes and quality control of the production it develops. All this without losing sight of energy efficiency at all levels.

To optimize the work processes, safety and energy efficiency of the plant, IMACSA decided to opt for the Loxone solution proposed by Areacad, as the core of all the complex installations that a plant of this level presents. All access to the entry and dispatch docks are controlled from a single point in the company, from which truck drivers can communicate through the various Loxone Intercoms installed, while company personnel access through NFC Code Touch. The plant has a complex video surveillance system with intelligent video analysis, which centralizes all alerts and incidents through the multiple messaging and calling options offered by the Miniserver. The management of office air conditioning is also integrated into the system, to guarantee staff comfort and energy efficiency. The plant has a 90 KW photovoltaic installation, managed by 5 inverters controlled through the Miniserver.
