Olympic Fitness Lüneburg

The Olympic in Lüneburg, Germany is a modern fitness centre spread over two floors. It features large, open training areas, classrooms, and a large cardio area. The latter was to be equipped with a new sound system. The requirement here was to be able to divide the large, connected space into three areas. Naturally, all areas play the same music, but at different volumes. The system also had to be easily expandable.

We opted for LOXONE Master/Client technology. A virtually infinitely expandable solution in which each speaker can be controlled individually. The "Install Speaker 7 Master" is powered by a Miniserver Compact via Tree Turbo. The system consists of a total of 14x Install 7 and 3x Install Sub 10 speakers with the corresponding surface-mounted speakers. The customer has the option of playing different music at different times of day using an analog timer. Another analog timer controls the volume of the music zones. The fitness centre's user base varies depending on the time of day. The timer now automatically increases the volume during peak times and lowers it again during less frequented times. This can be easily configured in the visualization. Daily operation is therefore fully automated.
